  • An amazing place!

    I cannot speak highly enough of the quaint cottage, far enough from the hustle & bustle of the tourist areas but near enough for a family with young children. The village is absolutely lovely. Of all the places we’ve been, the kids said this was number 1. We’ll be back!

    The cottage was delightful. Straight out of a children’s book. Beautifully furnished with all mod cons….wifi, dishwasher, underfloor heating etc. and sparkling clean. The location is perfect. Lustleigh is a very pretty village with an excellent pub and village shop. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

    The cottage has been tastefully modernised, while retaining its charm and cosiness. It is well equipped and immaculately clean. It’s a bonus you deal directly with the owners. When they gave their routine call to see how we were doing and pressed us for any problems we said we couldn’t find a tray – a brand new one arrived in the post two days later!

  • It doesn’t get any better, the only problem is leaving

    My wife and I have been to Lustleigh 5 times: the last three we stayed at this perfect cottage and can’t wait to go back. It is at the center of numerous great walks and a few steps from a terrific pub and a tea room, and only a very short walk to the church and village shop. We have stayed all over the UK and Europe, and this is our favorite spot.

    Just had a wonderful week in the cottage. The cottage was immaculately presented, and lives up to all the images you see on the website. The cottage was always a delight to return to at the end of the day with our 2 teenage children. Three Pound Cottage is the perfect base for a stay on Dartmoor.
